The Quatermain Premier Boutique Hotel is a privately owned and managed hotel situated in Morningside, Sandton, Africa's commercial and business centre. Situated in the heart of residential, upmarket Morningside, The Quatermain is only 2km from Sandton City and 27km from Johannesburg International Airport. The architecture is inspired by Sir Edwin Lutyens, the renowned designer of grand English homes and a contemporary of Sir Herbert Baker, and the gardens, which are completely indigenous, have been designed to create a peaceful "bush" environment attracting bird and insect life.
