Tintswalo Atlantic
Welcome To Tintswalo Atlantic, Hout Bay, Atlantic Seaboard, Cape Town
The latest addition to the Tintswalo Collection is Tintswalo Atlantic. The magnificent lodge is situated in one of the most stunning locations in Southern Africa! Positioned at the base of Chapman’s Peak, Tintswalo Atlantic overlooks the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay.

Stylish yet understated, Tintswalo Atlantic offers home-away-from-home comforts, discreet service and mouthwatering culinary creations in the most beautiful setting. Nestled unobtrusively between the boulders of the Atlantic Ocean's water’s edge and the slopes of the Cape Mountain Fynbos Reserve, known worldwide for its extraordinary rich and diverse fauna and flora - no trees were removed and not so much as a branch was cut from the Milkwood trees that grace the shoreline - Tintswalo Atlantic offers absolute seclusion and relaxation, with the ocean literally a stone’s throw away from the pebbled beach!

Tintswalo Atlantic is the perfect destination for visitors wanting to relax right beside the ocean - either starting their holiday at the lodge or to recuperate after an exciting few days on safari. It’s also ideal for holiday goers wanting to spend their days exploring the many attractions of the Cape Peninsula, returning “home” at the end of a busy day!

Location
Tintswalo Atlantic is located in Cape Town, two kilometers from Hout Bay on the Chapman's Peak road. It is approximately a 45 minute drive from Cape Town International Airport, and 25 minutes from the city of Cape Town.

Clients who are driving themselves to Tintswalo Atlantic will leave their car in a secure parking area at the top of the cliff - shortly after passing through the Chapman's Peak toll gate. They will then be transferred via a steep single track to the hotel by the Tintswalo Atlantic courtesy vehicle.

Facilities
The Tintswalo Atlantic communal areas have been built predominantly from wood and glass to blend harmoniously with the natural and staggeringly beautiful surrounds. Facilities include a lounge, bar, small wine cellar, dining room, and interactive kitchen. The common element shared by all are the breathtaking views of the sea and mountains. From the long wooden deck with its heated Jacuzzi pool and comfortable loungers, one has a feeling of being suspended over the ocean.

The décor and furnishings complement the beauty of the setting. A colour palette of blue, green, aquamarine, brown and silver reflects the ever changing moods of the ocean. Deep sofas, comfy chairs and ottomans, pewter tables and stools, rich wooden floors, crystal chandeliers, wonderfully tactile fabrics together with displays of coral, shells, driftwood and bowls of Proteas complete the ambience of unparalleled elegance and discreet comfort.

Cuisine
The Tintswalo Atlantic kitchen is a very personal one, headed by Danelle. The culinary wizards' sole objective is to give guests the feeling of a home away from home. The kitchen and dining room are open plan and designed in such a way that guests are encouraged to have a seat at the counter (with a glass of legendary Cape wine) while watching the Tintswalo's chefs in action, as they weave their magic.

Or how about a personalized cooking class?

Guests staying at Tintswalo Atlantic are treated to a sublime breakfast, and afternoon tea. 'A La Carte' lunches and dinners are also available.
