Journey to a place where you can follow the path of nature… This breathtakingly beautiful reserve, incorporating 10kms of fully navigable river, provides a magnificent setting for viewing an abundance of game including Africa’s 'Big 5' and close to 400 different bird species.
Location
Guests arrive and park at reception in Kenton-on-Sea, just 130 kms from Port Elizabeth and 150 kms from East London, and the unique experience starts immediately with an 11km boat trip from the sea up the magnificent Kariega Estuary to 'River' or 'Forest' Camps.

Professional guides in these two intimateCamps nestling in the forest on the banks of the river, ensure all guests are treated to a unique and personalised experience.

Accommodation
'River' (4 tents) and 'Forest' Camps (8 tents) are rustic luxury in tented camps that will leave you with memories of how simple and enjoyable life used to be before the distractions of our modern age.

Mosquito netting to all doors and windows and en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water ensure a comfortable night at a Sibuya Camp.

Wine & Dine
The soft glow of the lanterns, the water gently lapping on the boats and the sounds of the African night will be the only distractions as you reminisce in the warm embrace of the evening fire, while our ever friendly camp staff prepare the Finest African Fireside Cuisine.
Meetings & Events
An ideal venue for board meetings and "bosberaads". River Camp offers a tented 12-seater boardroom or a magnificent 20-seater open-air deck under the forest canopy. Forest Camp offers a thatched 30-seater boardroom venue.
River and Forest Camps together offer an idyllic opportunity to book an entire "Big Five" Game Reserve for a wedding with a difference. 18-20 family and close friends can be accommodated in the Reserve and additional guests in B&B’s in Kenton-on-Sea where they are transported to and from the reception either by boat or game vehicle.
Leisure Facilities
An abundance of wildlife and the Reserve's immense carrying capacity guarantee an intense viewing experience; the "Big 5", five distinct biomes and close to 400 indigenous and migrant bird species.A mixture of game drives, river cruises, canoeing and guided bush or beach walks will enthral those with a desire to fill the day, whilst hammocks in the trees or a fishing line dangling in the water will suit those who wish to take it easy.

Additional activities offered by arrangement include: Deep-sea, surf, river & fly fishing, massage, horse riding, and cultural & historical tours. Golf, tennis, squash and bowls are all available in nearby Kenton-on-Sea or Port Alfred.

Terms and Conditions
ACCOMMODATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Rates are in rands and are inclusive of full board accommodation, all local beverages, scheduled boat transfers, boat cruises, game drives, camp activities and 14% VAT
Adult rates are quoted per person, per day, sharing in twin or king accommodation, as requested
A single supplement of 50% applies
Infants can be provided with a camp bed on request and at no additional charge
Children up to 12 may share with their parents or minders, maximum two children per tented room
Children 12 years and older count as adults for billing purposes, whether or not they share with parents or minders
Owing to their duration, standard game drives are not suitable for children under six years of age unless a private vehicle is booked for a nominal charge
Please inform us in advance of any special dietary requirements
Management reserves the right to make periodic adjustments to the published rates
Rates exclude discretionary gratuities, non-scheduled boat transfers, airport transfers, laundry, premium beverages and any other items not listed as inclusive

Payment and cancellation policy
Bookings made more than 40 days prior to the arrival date will be secured only on receipt of a deposit of 50% of the total amount due.
If the required deposit is not received within 48 hours, the booking will be released. Payment of the balance due must be received at least 30 days prior to the arrival date failing which the booking will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
Bookings made within 40 days of the arrival date will be secured only on receipt of the full amount due.

Cancellations need to be in writing and should be sent by email or fax. Cancellations made more than 28 days before the arrival date will incur a fee of 25% of the total amount due.
Cancellations made 28 days to 8 days prior to the arrival date will incur a fee of 50% of the total amount due. Cancellations made less than 8 days prior to the arrival date will incur a fee of 100% of the amount due.
It is recommended that guests take out travel insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.
Refunds are subject to a 10% administration fee.
