As one of the first in South Africa to be awarded the Fair Trade in Tourism SA accreditation, our hotel has been recognised as a pioneer in responsible tourism. In 2011, we also won the top award in the Doing It All category at the Condé Nast Traveler World Saver Awards.

Spier is located in the heart of South Africa's wine-growing region, just 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• The Accommodation rates are inclusive of Full English Breakfast

• The above rates excludes 1% Tourism levy but includes VAT

• Accommodation Rates are subject to currency fluctuations and therefore we reserve the right to change the rates accordingly. Prior notice will be given should this be necessary

• All bookings remain provisional until a guarantee has been received in writing

• All cancellations and amendments must be made in writing

• The above rates exclude conference and incentive reservations as well as any group bookings. Rates for these markets will be issued upon written request.

• Smoking is prohibited in all indoor venues on the farm 

Cancellation Policy

• 29 - 15 days :25% of the Accommodation Costs

• 14 - 8 days : 50% of the Accommodation Costs

• 7 days or less: 100% of the Accommodation Costs.

Information

• The above rates are quoted per room, are inclusive of VAT but exclude all extras and Tourism Levy.

CHILD POLICY (Please send through the ages of the children at the time of making the booking in order

for the extra beds and cots to be arranged in advance)

Ages: 0 – 11 years:

• 2 Children sharing a room with parents will be provided with an extra bed or cot an additional R127 per child per day for breakfast will apply to children 4 years and older.

• Should there be more than 2 children; an additional room will be booked.

Hotel Restaurant

Enjoy a glass of Spier’s award winning wine on the terrace of the Spier Hotel overlooking the manicured gardens.

For elegant a la carte dining, the hotel’s restaurant is well appointed.

Both the Restaurant and Wine Bar strive to source the freshest available produce for the menus from a range of local farmers and suppliers. Subject to seasonal variations and availability, this may include organic fruit and vegetables, handpicked herbs from our own gardens, as well as free range eggs. We only serve fish graded as the most sustainable by The South African Sustainable Seafood Initiative (SASSI).

Opening hours: Daily. Serving breakfast from 06:30 to 10:30 on weekdays, and from 06:30 to 11:00 on weekends and public holidays. Lunch and light meals are served from 11:00 to 18:00 in the Wine Bar, and dinner in the Restaurant from 18:00 to 22h00.

Our Kids' Clubhouse has been specially designed to provide fun and secure childcare services for our little hotel guests. While you are out wine tasting, relaxing by the pool or enjoying lunch, you can have complete peace of mind that your children – ages 2-12 – are in safe hands.
