Londolozi is one of the original pioneering Private Game Reserves of the ecotourism industry in South Africa and an unashamedly family run, stand alone operation.

The root of the word Londolozi is the Zulu word for protect and means “protector of all living things” – an ambitious conservation ethic that Londolozi embraces in its sensitivity to the natural world. The reserve is internationally recognised for its far-sighted and progressive management of land and wildlife rehabilitation as well as productive community involvement.

World renowned as one of Africa’s finest game lodges, Londolozi was the first game reserve in the world to be accorded Relais & Chateaux status, reinforcing its commitment to luxurious accommodation, fine cuisine and exceptional service.

Our Camps
At each of the five exquisite Londolozi Lodges, you will experience exceptional cuisine and the very best game viewing with some of Africa’s finest rangers and trackers. Wherever you stay, you’ll enjoy over 14,000 ha of exceptional traversing in the Sabi Sand private game reserve – home of the Big 5.

So why do the lodges vary in price? Well it’s simply down to the quality of the accommodation. The Private Granite Suites are the crème de la crème of the Londolozi portfolio, closely followed by Pioneer Camp and Tree Camp. These three properties are all part of the Relais & Chateaux group of elite hotels. Tree Camp and the Private Granite Suites do not allow children under the age of 16 unless they are taken for exclusive use. Pioneer Camp can be used for both families and couples alike.
Varty Camp and Founders Camp are slightly larger and perfect for families and small groups and accept children of four years and older.
The great thing about the variety is that there is usually something to suit every budget.

Rates are quoted per person per night sharing
Guests occupying a room on their own, will be levied a single supplement of an additional 50% of the per person rate. The single supplement will be waived for a stay of four nights and longer

Rates Include: Accommodation, All meals, teas and coffees daily, Soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, Two game drives daily in open landrovers, Nature walks accompanied by experienced armed trackers, One group yoga class per day at Varty Camp, Fitness Room at Varty Camp, Children four years and older welcome at Varty, Founders and Pioneer Camps, no children under the age of 16 at Private Granite and Tree Camps, except exclusive use of camp,
Children - Cubs Den programme, Good Work Foundation Community Tour, Transfers to/from Londolozi airstrip to lodge, Emergency medical evacuation insurance,
Laundry and VAT

Rates Exclude: Private yoga classes (on request), Londolozi “Life” treatments, Telephone calls, Londolozi “Living” purchases, Champagne, cognacs, cellar wines, premium brand spirits, cigars & cigarettes, Transfers to and from the lodge, Airport taxes or landing fees, where applicable, Gratuities, Sabi Sands Wildtuin Park fees, R30 per person, plus R120 per vehicle, Noise impact levy R2 000 for flights landing/ departing before 09h00 after 16h00, Private Landrover, Photographic Safari Vehicle, Pilot room R1 200 per day, for one night’s stay only – not for Tour Leaders or Guides
COMPULSORY: Early morning road departures from Londolozi to Nelspruit to connect to an early flight departure, rate on request.

Deposit
We require a 20% non-refundable deposit within 5 days from reservation confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation should we not receive the deposit within 5 days. The balance of payment is required 60 days prior to arrival. Short-lead time reservations must be paid in full immediately.

Cancellation
Cancellation of a confirmed reservation (20% non-refundable deposit received) will result in loss of the deposit.
Should a cancellation be received between 60 – 0 days prior to due arrival date, 100% cancellation penalty would be charged.
We reserve the right to cancel reservations should full payment not be received within 60 days prior to arrival.
Refunds are at the discretion of management and subject to a 10% administration fee.
